Cotton Sarees

Cotton is the everyday saree – the one that gets worn to school, to the office and to the temple, and still feels comfortable at the end of the day. Our cotton sarees start at LKR 990 and go up to LKR 2,990 for the heavier woven and blended designs. Each includes a blouse piece.

Best for daily wear

Cotton breathes better than any other saree fabric, which matters in Sri Lankan heat and humidity. It is the standard choice for teachers, nurses, bank and government staff, and anyone who wears a saree several days a week. It also takes starch well if you prefer a crisper pleat.

Blends we stock

Alongside pure cotton we carry silk cotton for a softer sheen and linen cotton for a lighter, more textured drape.

Care

Machine or hand wash cold. Wash separately for the first two or three washes, as deeper shades can release dye. Dry in shade to keep colours from fading, and press while slightly damp.
